Rishikesh
I’ve visited this magical city twice, and each time, it welcomed me with open arms, leaving me with memories to cherish forever. This is not just a travel story—it’s a heartfelt journey of emotions, moments, and connections that I experienced in the land of yoga, spirituality, and adventure.
Where I Stayed – A Home Away from Home

Experiencing Ganga Aarti – A Spiritual Awakening
I reached the ghat by 5 PM to get a good spot. The air was filled with the fragrance of incense, the sound of temple bells, and the chanting of mantras. As the priests performed the aarti, the flickering diyas on the river made everything look divine.
The most beautiful part? People dancing with joy after the aarti, celebrating the energy of this holy place. It felt like being in Vrindavan!

A Sacred Experience – Performing Havan at Purnanand Ghat
I never imagined I would get this chance—it was a deeply personal and spiritual experience. Feeling the warmth of the sacred fire, chanting mantras, and offering prayers to Maa Ganga filled my heart with gratitude.
Cafes with a View – Where Food Meets Serenity
One of my favorites was Tat Café.
Must-Try: Their Falafel Platter—one of the best I’ve had!
I also loved the experience of sipping roadside kullad chai in Tapovan. The chilly breeze, a warm cup of tea, and a street dog sitting beside me—it was a simple but beautiful moment.
